ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Addison Cummings! I’m a senior at Boston University’s College of Communication and Kilachand Honors College, where I’m pursuing a degree in Film and Television with a minor in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Storytelling has always been my passion, and I’ve spent my college years bringing stories to life through video journalism, live broadcasting, and creative media production.

As the Executive Producer for Good Morning BU, Boston University’s only live television show, I led a team of 23 talented individuals to create content that informs and inspires. I’ve also had the incredible opportunity to executive produce United We Vote, a live, 60-minute election special, where I learned firsthand how to pivot under pressure and deliver quality content in real time. Beyond campus, I’ve interned at Fox News Media and Channel Nine News, gaining hands-on experience in field reporting, research, and digital storytelling.

What excites me most is exploring how my generation interacts with news differently and creating content that genuinely connects with people. I believe journalism has the power to inform, build community, and inspire change, and I’m committed to crafting stories that resonate with audiences in meaningful ways.

When I’m not producing shows or developing new projects, I’m working on a platform to unify all of Boston University’s student media under one app. It’s a project that combines my love for storytelling, innovation, and collaboration, and I couldn’t be more excited about it’s potential.
